These ring attachments turn your breastplate into a useful schooling aid. The reins thread through the brass rings, so when your horse lifts its head past a certain point you get a steadying downward contact, then the pressure releases the moment it settles. Out of that range the rings sit quietly and stay out of the way.
The strapping is made from tough PVC-coated webbing that's fully waterproof and wipes clean. There's no oiling or conditioning to keep up with, and it won't dry out or stiffen the way leather can. Both straps adjust on their own buckle, so you can set the fit for your horse and your breastplate.
