A finished, ready-to-go race head (headstall) in black super heavy BioThane, set off by a pale blue glitter browband. This is a one-off clearance piece, made up in Cob size and ready to ship as shown.
The head sits at the standard 13mm width with a 25mm browband, and runs on stainless steel fittings with billet ends for your bit and reins. It's a lightweight, easy-fitting style that suits track work, fast work and everyday riding alike.
BioThane takes the fuss out of race gear. It won't soak up sweat or water, and it wipes clean in seconds, so it holds up to beach work, river crossings and wet mornings without cracking or going stiff.

Beta BioThane® is a tough, PVC-coated webbing, and one of the best strapping materials around. It's stronger than nylon or leather and fully waterproof, so there's no oiling or conditioning to worry about. It stays soft and pliable but wipes clean in seconds.
Rinse it under warm water with a little mild soap and wipe it dry. There's no oiling or conditioning to do, and unlike leather it won't dry out or hold odours.
