Custom BioThane Dog Collar with Lacing

The lacing is what sets this collar apart. A plaited braid in two colours of your choosing runs down the centre of the band, sitting over a backing layer so it stays put and won't snag. It's a bit of detail that makes a plain walk-around collar look like something made just for your dog.

The band is Beta BioThane® over a softer lining, finished with contrast stitching along both edges. You choose every part of it:

• BioThane colour for the outer band

• Lining colour behind it

• Two lacing colours for the woven braid

• Stitching colour along the edges

• Fittings in solid brass or stainless steel

• Optional engraved nameplate

Pick your width and measure your dog's neck for the size. Every collar is cut, laced and stitched to order here in our workshop, so the colours shown are just one example of what you can put together.

A backing layer behind the BioThane gives the collar a bit more body and a softer feel against your dog's coat, and holds the lacing neatly in place.

BioThane, lining, two lacing colours, stitching and fittings are all yours to choose. Add an engraved nameplate to finish it off.

Beta BioThane® is a tough, PVC-coated webbing, and one of the best strapping materials around. It's stronger than nylon or leather and fully waterproof, so there's no oiling or conditioning to worry about. It stays soft and pliable but wipes clean in seconds.

Rinse it under warm water with a little mild soap and wipe it dry. There's no oiling or conditioning to do, and unlike leather it won't dry out or hold odours.
