Two Tone BioThane Dog Collar with Chicago Screws

This is a two tone dog collar built from BioThane, the tough PVC-coated webbing we use across our dog and horse gear. Two colour layers sit one over the other and are fixed with Chicago screws rather than rivets, so the join is solid and the screws double as a neat decorative detail down the length of the collar.

You choose the lot: a main colour, a contrast colour, and brass or stainless steel fittings (the screws match the buckle). Add an engraved nameplate if you'd like your dog's name and your number on the collar.

• Waterproof and stink-proof — swim, mud, the lot; it won't soak up water or hold odours.

• Width to suit the dog — 25mm down to 19mm, 19mm down to 16mm, or 16mm down to 13mm, tapering in at the buckle.

• Low maintenance — no oiling or conditioning, just a quick wipe.

Pick a main and a contrast colour, then brass or stainless steel fittings to match. Every collar is made to order, so the combination is yours.

The two layers are held with Chicago screws instead of rivets — a strong, serviceable fixing that keeps the collar together through years of wear.

There's an optional engraved nameplate if you'd like your dog's name and your contact number on the collar — handy if they ever wander.

Beta BioThane® is a tough, PVC-coated webbing, and one of the best strapping materials around. It's stronger than nylon or leather and fully waterproof, so there's no oiling or conditioning to worry about. It stays soft and pliable but wipes clean in seconds.

Rinse it under warm water with a little mild soap and wipe it dry. There's no oiling or conditioning to do, and unlike leather it won't dry out or hold odours.
