Flag Combo Horse Rug - Pink Trim

When the weather turns hot, this is the rug we reach for. Flag cloth is an open-weave cotton, light and airy as cheesecloth, so air moves straight through it and your horse stays cool while still being protected from the sun and the worst of the flies.

This is the combo cut, so the neck cover is sewn straight onto the rug rather than added on. That means one continuous piece of fabric from poll to tail, no buckle join sitting on the mane, and far less rubbing through the neck and wither. If you want full coverage in the lightest possible weight, the combo is the one.

These are our favourite summer rugs for our own Mac Tack horses on scorching days. Because the cotton weave is so light, it isn't built for horses that are hard on their rugs or that play rough with paddock mates, so it can tear more easily than a heavier rug. Pick it for the cool and comfort on hot days, not for rough-and-tumble turnout.
