Premium Grey & Pink TPU Horse Halter

If you like the easy care of a synthetic halter but want one that looks and feels a cut above, this is it. The strapping is grey with a stitched bright pink overlay along the noseband and headpiece, a fresh two tone look with a proper pop of colour. And unlike our custom made gear, it's on the shelf and ready to ship.

It's made from TPU coated webbing rather than the usual PVC. On the noseband and headpiece the pink layer is stitched over the grey, two full straps sewn together, which gives the halter a substantial, quality feel in the hand. TPU also stands up better than PVC to scuffs, UV and general wear, so it holds its glossy finish for years instead of cracking or peeling, and it wipes clean under the tap like any coated halter.

The fittings are solid brass, made with precision investment casting rather than the usual sand casting. In plain terms: a smoother, cleaner finish, crisper detail, and none of the rough spots you sometimes find on cheaper cast fittings. Being solid brass, there's no plating to wear off and nothing to rust. You get buckles on both sides of the headpiece for an even fit, brass dees, and a brass throat snap so you can clip it on and off without unbuckling.

TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane) coated webbing is the premium version of the coated strapping used in most synthetic halters. It outlasts PVC by a clear margin, with better resistance to scuffs and UV, and it won't go brittle, crack or peel as it ages. Like all coated webbing it's waterproof and wipes clean in seconds.

Rinse it under warm water with a little mild soap and wipe it dry. There's no oiling or conditioning to do, and unlike leather it won't dry out or hold odours.
