Mac Tack's open front tendon boots pair a protective outer shell with a lining of genuine Australian Merino sheepskin, so your horse gets serious tendon protection without the rubbing and heat of a synthetic boot.
The moulded shell sits over the back of the leg, guarding the tendon and fetlock from strikes by an over-reaching hind hoof. The front is left open: it keeps the boot light around the knee and pastern, and lets your horse feel a rail if they touch one, which helps them stay careful over fences. Two adjustable elastic straps with secure buckle closures hold the boots firmly in place.
