The Hybrid Hooded Horse Rug pairs the toughness of ripstop with the airflow of mesh, then adds a full attached hood so your horse is covered from the ears to the tail. It's the most protective cut in our hybrid range: where the standard rug leaves the neck bare and the combo covers the neck, the hooded version wraps the whole head and face too, so there's no exposed forelock or ears for flies and sun to find.
Why hybrid? A 250GSM diamond-weave ripstop body takes the knocks, rolling and paddock wear that thinner summer rugs don't survive, while soft 200gsm mesh panels let trapped heat and moisture escape. Your horse stays cooler and cleaner without giving up durability.

Choosing your size: sizes are written as the rug length plus the hood size. The COB or FULL on the 6'0" and 6'3" options refers to the hood, not the rug. For example, 6'0" COB is a 6 foot rug with a COB-sized hood.
