The Hybrid Horse Rug earns its name by combining two fabrics in one rug: a tough ripstop body and breathable mesh panels. You get the knock-resistant strength of ripstop where your horse needs protection, and airflow where they tend to heat up, so it stays cooler than a solid ripstop rug but holds up far better than plain mesh.
This is the standard neck cut, finishing at the wither. It's the lightest and simplest of our hybrid range, easy to throw on and off and an ideal everyday rug. Spread the load across the seasons and it pulls double duty as a summer day rug or a light layer underneath a winter rug or rain sheet.
Body fabric: 250GSM diamond-weave ripstop, with soft 200gsm mesh panels for airflow.
Comfort: satin-lined shoulder and a fleece wither patch to stop rubbing through the mane and shoulders.
