Solid brass Chicago screws for fixing a Mac Tack nameplate to a halter, bridle or dog collar. They screw apart, so you can swap the plate or reuse the screws later, and the brass won't rust.
Sold individually. Check the sizing image in the gallery and the measurements in the Screw Dimensions tab below to pick your size.
Solid brass Chicago screws (also called screw studs) for attaching a Mac Tack nameplate to a halter, bridle, dog collar or any leather strap. Each screw is a two-part fastener: a slotted post and a matching barrel that thread together through the plate and the strap.
Unlike a rivet, a Chicago screw simply unscrews, so you can take the nameplate off, move it to another piece of gear or fit a new plate if your horse is re-homed or outgrows the halter. The solid brass won't rust and pairs neatly with a brass nameplate.
Solid brass — won't rust, suits brass nameplates
Removable and reusable — unscrews to swap plates or move between gear
Five sizes (4mm to 10mm) to match your strap thickness
Sold individually
Use the sizing image in the gallery together with the measurements in the Screw Dimensions tab to choose the right length for your strap.
A Chicago screw threads together rather than being riveted in place, so the nameplate comes off whenever you need it to — handy for swapping a plate, moving it to another halter, or reusing the screws on your next piece of gear.
