Rubber Grip Reins - Loop to Bit

Reins you can hold onto when the weather turns. The grip section is wrapped in textured rubber, so your hands stay put through rain, sweat and a long day in the saddle. Below the grip, the rein runs in 16mm Beta BioThane down to the bit.

The ends loop straight onto the bit. There's no snap clip or buckle billet, just a clean BioThane loop held by a keeper, so there's less hardware to wear out or come undone. The result is a tidy finish that sits close to the bit and stays where you put it.

BioThane handles everything from beach rides to a day at the track, and it wipes clean when you're done.

The rubber grip runs through the part of the rein you actually hold. It gives you traction when leather or plain BioThane would slip, which matters most in the rain or on a hot, sweaty day.

The rein ends loop directly onto the bit and fasten with a keeper. With no snap or buckle there's less to fail, and the join sits neat and close to the bit.

Every pair is made to order. You pick the BioThane colour, the grip colour, the keepers, the stitching and the buckle, plus the length to suit your horse. The blue, purple and pink shown is just one combination.

Beta BioThane® is a tough, PVC-coated webbing, and one of the best strapping materials around. It's stronger than nylon or leather and fully waterproof, so there's no oiling or conditioning to worry about. It stays soft and pliable but wipes clean in seconds.

Rinse it under warm water with a little mild soap and wipe it dry. There's no oiling or conditioning to do, and unlike leather it won't dry out or hold odours.
