BioThane Split Reins

A pair of split reins in heavy-weight Beta BioThane, made to your order. They have the look and soft, supple feel of well broken-in leather, but they shrug off sweat, rain and mud and never need oiling or conditioning.

Split reins give you independent contact in each hand, so you can fine-tune your cues and reposition without fuss. The buckle ends attach to your bit with solid brass buckles, and you pick the length and width to suit your horse and discipline.

Beta BioThane® is a tough, PVC-coated webbing, and one of the best strapping materials around. It's stronger than nylon or leather and fully waterproof, so there's no oiling or conditioning to worry about. It stays soft and pliable but wipes clean in seconds.

Rinse it under warm water with a little mild soap and wipe it dry. There's no oiling or conditioning to do, and unlike leather it won't dry out or hold odours.
