If your saddle sits low at the front, this gel half pad lifts it back to level. The built-in wedge at the front raises the pommel end, which helps balance the saddle and improves clearance over the withers, so you and your horse are sitting in the right place.

The gel soaks up concussion and movement without the bulk of a thick saddle pad, so it works well under close contact saddles where there isn't much room to spare. The whole pad is perforated, which keeps it light and lets heat and air move through rather than building up underneath.
