A handmade two-tone BioThane dog collar with an extra ring at the centre that lets it flex. If your dog snags the collar on a fence or a branch, that bit of give helps them back out of it instead of getting stuck.
Made to order in your choice of colours, stitching and fittings.
The Two Tone Flexi Dog Collar pairs two colours of BioThane with a free-moving ring at the centre. That ring is the point of the collar. A standard flat collar holds its shape, so a dog that catches it on a fence wire or a low branch can end up stuck. The centre ring lets the collar twist and give, which makes it easier for your dog to back out of it and free themselves.
Because it is a release feature, fit matters. Sized correctly for everyday walks it stays put on the lead; the flex comes into play when the collar is pulled hard against an obstacle.
Two-tone BioThane in your choice of a main and a secondary colour
Centre flex ring that helps a snagged dog work its way loose
Side D-ring to clip your lead and ID tag
Contrast stitching colour of your choosing
Choose your buckle and fittings, plus collar width and neck size
BioThane wipes clean and shrugs off mud, water and sweat, so this holds up to creeks, beaches and wet paddocks far better than leather. Made to order, by hand, here in Australia.
The extra ring at the throat lets the collar flex and roll. If your dog gets the collar hooked on something, that movement gives them room to back out and free themselves rather than staying caught.
Pick a main colour, a secondary colour, your stitching and your fittings. No two have to look alike, and the colourway in the photo is just one example of what you can put together.
Built with a sturdy buckle, a side D-ring for the lead and ID tag, and the centre flex ring. Choose the fittings to suit your dog.
Beta BioThane® is a tough, PVC-coated webbing, and one of the best strapping materials around. It's stronger than nylon or leather and fully waterproof, so there's no oiling or conditioning to worry about. It stays soft and pliable but wipes clean in seconds.
Rinse it under warm water with a little mild soap and wipe it dry. There's no oiling or conditioning to do, and unlike leather it won't dry out or hold odours.
Mac Tack is a small, Australian-owned business. We make our gear by hand from the best materials we can get, and we're proud of how it's put together.
