Why Use Sheepskin?
Wool functions as a natural insulator by capturing air within its fibers. Hence, sheepskin pads maintain the warmth of the horse's back during cold weather and regulate it close to body temperature in hot conditions. Additionally, sheepskin has the ability to wick away sweat from the horse's skin, absorbing over 30 percent of its own weight in moisture into its fibers.
