Custom Single Clip BioThane Horse & Dog Lead

The Single Clip Lead is made from super-heavy BioThane and stitched at the stress points, with a single trigger snap on the end. It's a horse lead first, built to handle a horse that leans back or pulls. That same strength is why a lot of our customers use it as a heavy-duty dog lead for big or powerful dogs.

You build it to suit the job: choose how strong you want the snap clip, the lead length, the strap width and the coating thickness, then your colour and stitching.

BioThane is waterproof and wipes clean, so it handles the beach, the track, river crossings and wet paddocks without soaking up water or odour. Made to order, by hand, here in Australia.

This is the heavy end of our lead range. Super-heavy BioThane and reinforced stitching let it stand up to a horse that pulls back or leans on the lead.

Because it's made to horse strength, it also makes an excellent lead for large or powerful dogs. Spec a strong snap clip and a wider strap, and you have a dog lead that holds up to a serious puller.

Choose the snap clip strength, the lead length, the strap width and the coating thickness, plus your main colour and stitching. The lead in the photo is just one example of what you can put together.

Beta BioThane® is a tough, PVC-coated webbing, and one of the best strapping materials around. It's stronger than nylon or leather and fully waterproof, so there's no oiling or conditioning to worry about. It stays soft and pliable but wipes clean in seconds.

Rinse it under warm water with a little mild soap and wipe it dry. There's no oiling or conditioning to do, and unlike leather it won't dry out or hold odours.
