The Ripstop Hooded Rug is the most covered-up option in our teal & grey ripstop range. Where the standard rug stops at the wither and the combo carries a neck to the poll, the hooded version takes it all the way over the head, so a clipped or rug-rubbed horse stays protected from ears to tail.
It's cut from 250GSM diamond-weave ripstop, a crosshatch-reinforced cotton-feel fabric that resists tearing and stops small snags from running. Light and breathable, it works as a day rug through summer and as an under-layer beneath a winter rug or rain sheet when it turns cold.
Full hood coverage with very generous eye openings, fleece on the nose, and enclosed ears you can permanently remove if you prefer an open-face fit.
Rub protection from a satin-lined shoulder and mane.
Freedom to move thanks to shoulder gussets, with a generous tail flap for extra cover at the back.

A note on sizing: the COB or FULL label refers to the hood size, not the rug. For example, 6'0" COB is a 6-foot rug with a COB hood.
