Hanoverian nosebands and designed to help prevent a horse from opening it's mouth or crossing it's jaw.

This style noseband is very similar to the cavesson style noseband but it has an additional strap, known as a 'flash strap' which is fitted on the horse chin behind the horses lower lip.
